One thing I find so fascinating is how people express themselves in their homes. I was very privileged to spend time in a photography workshop with Jay Maisel. The workshop was held where Jay called home since the 60's. He lived in the former Germania Bank Building at 190 Bowery and it was full of not only his amazing photographs (multiple gallery size rooms of his magnificent work) but many very unique collections of "things". Here is one of the many photos I took of his private living space during the workshop.
